How to Transfer Ringtones to a Samsung Blackjack

Here’s an easy way to get a ringtone on you Blackjack! All you need is a email account.

  1. First send yourself the RCP tone of your choice (.mp3 format).
  2. Go to your email provider in your browser on your phone (I.e. gmail.com).
  3. Open the email you sent.
  4. Download the attachment you sent (RCP-Wheel.mp3 or whatever).
  5. Go to settings on your phone.
  6. Go to sounds, select ringtones.
  7. Scroll till you get to RCP, and thats it! You have your ringtone on your phone!
Here’s another way to transfer mp3′s to your Blackjack II.
  1. E-mail the mp3 as an attachment to your personal e-mail. 
  2. Press the left soft key, then select Messaging, or press the mail task key in the bottom right corner. 
  3. Scroll down until you see your email provider. (Ex. yahoo) 
  4. Sign in to your e-mail account, unless already signed in. 
  5. Select the message containing your mp3 file. 
  6. Select the mp3 file. 
  7. “Attachments will download next time you connect and receive e-mail” will show. 
  8. Select Menu, then scroll and select Send/Receive. 
  9. After message is finished downloading, select the mp3 file again. 
  10. It will prompt “What would you like to do with this file?” 
  11. Click right soft key to select menu. 
  12. Select “Save As” 
  13. Fill in what you would like to save it as and what location you would like to save it to. 
  14. Click the left soft key “Save” 
  15. “File saved at: ………… will appear. 
  16. Simply go to the mp3 file in the location you saved it and click apply as ringtone.
