How to Transfer Ringtones to a Samsung Alias (u740)

 

  1. Email the mp3 ringtone as an attachment to yournumber@vzwpix.com. 
  2. When you receive the text message, hit the ‘Options’ button on the message and chose option 5 ‘Save As Ringtone.’ 
  3. Choose no for set as ringtone. 
  4.  Your ringtone is now saved onto your Samsung Alias.
To set it as a ringtone or alert:
  1. Go to get it now from the menu 
  2. Go to choice 1 [music & tones] 
  3. Go to choice 3 [my ringtones] 
  4. Choose the ringtone you wish to set. 
  5. Press the left lower bumper [set as] 
  6. Now you can set as anything. 1 for ringtone, 3 and then 1 for txts.
